Brucie Cameron is a multifaceted individual with a rich background in radio and sign language interpretation. He is currently a presenter at NOW Radio, where he hosts the popular show “Sunday Shambles”1. Known for his engaging personality and deep love for music, Bruce has become a beloved figure in Scotland’s radio scene1.
In addition to his work in radio, Bruce is also a British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter2. He has been using sign language since he was 11 months old, as both his parents were deaf2. With over ten years of experience in a variety of roles, from court and police support work to social work and interpreting for theatre audiences, Bruce brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his interpretation work2.
Bruce’s work as a BSL interpreter extends to the digital realm as well. He has collaborated with Eastwood Park Theatre in Giffnock to provide sign language interpretation for online performances2.
