As previously reported, harsh criticism over the City Girls‘ ill-fated latest album, ‘RAW,’ turned into an all-out war between Yung Miami and Web personality DJ Akademiks.
And while the two are no strangers to having online beef in the past, the latest incident took a dark turn when Miami’s bestie – fellow rapper Saucy Santana – entered the chat in her defense.
Sparking a slew of homophobic remarks from Akademiks (born Livingston Allen) including threats of physical violence and dismemberment, those comments were not met with the vitriol of Santana’s who reacted to the DJ’s intimidation tactics with threats to sexually assault him.
The ‘Booty‘ hitmaker’s commentary left Allen butthurt, so much so he later took to social media in tears.
In footage captured by our friends at TNT, Livingston was unnerved reflecting on Saucy’s sexual assault statement.
“Everything we’ve ever talked about, everything I’ve cared about, I don’t care what rapper got on me bro, ever. But there’s really some s*t I really don’t f**k with in my life and I would never do,” Allen said visibly shaken.
Later in the clip, he alluded to his staunch disdain for homosexuality – despite previously suggesting his beef was with Santana solely (and not the entire LGBTQ+ community).
“I don’t f**k with certain sh*t and I would never do. I’m in America and I just gotta sit here and act like.. I don’t f**k with certain sh*t. I would never like it… Just please, I’m telling you, I hate certain sh*t to the soul of me,” he said. “I’m only pretending for y’all. This is why I say I would never be here for y’all but that’s not my content. But I’m not that person.”
The display sent the DJ’s name to trending status on Twitter Wednesday (November 1).
And while critics and commenters were torn on the believability of the emotional showing, one viewer who lent no sympathy was Yung Miami.
“I was in tears when he laughed and was trolling about my car getting shot up while I was 6 months pregnant,” she wrote in the comments section of the TNT-captured clip.
