Pedestrian, 60s, dies after being hit by SUV in Dublin
A pedestrian has died in a road traffic collision in Co Dublin.
It happened on Johnstown Road in Cabinteely, Dublin 18 at 7.10pm.
Gardaí say a SUV collided with the pedestrian, a man in his 60s.
The man’s body was been brought to St Vincent’s Hospital University Hospital.
The driver of the SUV, a man in his 20s, did not require medical attention, gardaí said.
The road was closed for a technical examination, but has since reopened.
Gardaí are asking any road users with camera footage from Johnstown Road between 6.30pm and 7.15pm to come forward.
