Keke Palmer is seeking full custody of her eight-month-old son with Darius Jackson.
Full story below…
The multihyphenate maven made headlines earlier this year when Jackson publicly lambasted her clothing choices while attending Usher’s Las Vegas residency.
And while Palmer has remained somewhat mum about the status of her relationship with Jackson, new court documents appear to confirm that the union is fractured in a major way.
According to Page Six, Palmer has filed paperwork today (November 9) seeking sole legal and physical custody of their baby, Leodis.
Per the report, Palmer had the opportunity to give Jackson, a fitness instructor, joint custody but opted not to – the reasons for which aren’t yet apparent.
Palmer is petitioning for “reasonable expenses of pregnancy and birth” be paid to her. She’s also asking for each party to pay their own legal fees.
The development comes after Jackson took to Twitter (X) with a stream of tweets that appear to unpack his present mindset:
“I realized that sometimes you gotta go broke, lose your closest friends, and lose the person you thought you loved most just to get where you are going. Trust Gods process, he closes doors to open new doors. Sometimes elevation requires separation.”
