A representative took to press Saturday (October 28) to report the actor – who rose to fame as “Chandler” on the hit television series ‘Friends’ – died of an apparent drowning at his Pacific Palisades home. Local law enforcement corroborated the news.

According to officials, a 911 call came in at 4:07 p.m. local time and was treated as a water rescue. At this time there is no indication of foul play being reported and no confirmed cause of death.
