Britney Spears is smashing sales records with her candid memoir, ‘The Woman in Me.’
And now it looks like the Pop diva’s powerful account of her life’s high’s and lows may be heading to the big screen.
Full story below…
According to Deadline, bids are flooding in from studios to adapt ‘The Woman in Me’ to a possible feature film, TV series, and long-form documentary.
Thematically, the book chronicles major corners of Spears’ life including her humble beginnings, her stratospheric ascend to music megastardom, her roller coaster romance with Justin Timberlake, and the controversial conservatorship that led to the “Free Britney” movement that would eventually facilitate her emancipation.
It’s expected that a companion project adapted screens would follow suit.

We’re here for it!
Spears undoubtedly serves as one of the most famous and reported-on figures of all-time.
And with much written about her over the years, this entire memoir venture has been about reclaiming her narrative and sharing her truth on her own terms.
Extending this to film and further cementing her own own account of her story as “the” definitive account would be a masterstroke move.
